6451: Jade invites Kyle back home

Jade continues trying to bury her feelings for Kyle. However, her resolve is tested when she hears that he told Sheila to leave town for interfering in their relationship. She is further challenged when Rhys tells her that Kyle is sick. Rhys calls Jade on hiding her true feelings, pointing out that her pride is keeping them apart.

Jade is torn, until she finally invites Kyle to return home - but only as housemates. At first Kyle is disappointed by Jade's distance, but when he sees that she's kept the card he left her, he realises that she still has feelings for him.

Meanwhile, Ajay is rattled by Paul's muckraking, but Priya gives him hope that the voters will see through it. He then throws himself into campaigning on election day. At first it seems that Priya is right, but as the day goes on, Ajay sees that Paul's story has turned the electorate against him. With loss inevitable, Ajay joins Priya on Ramsay Street, where he surprises everyone by buying the Ramsay house with a last-minute bid.

Elsewhere, Lucas excitedly anticipates buying the Ramsay house at auction. However, as his planned bidding price approaches, Lucas has second thoughts - doubting the wisdom of buying a house to share with Vanessa when she's in love with Rhys. He ultimately pushes through his insecurities to take control of the bidding.
