In the meantime, Casey is avoiding home, opting to stay at Sasha's. She is secretly excited, hoping that their friendship can be taken to the next level.
Meanwhile, when Lottie moves into the Summer Bay House, Alf clocks that she seems a little nervous and urges Roo to make sure that she is okay. When Roo confronts Lottie about this, she learns that Lottie is scared they will hate living with her and kick her out. Once assured, Lottie goes back to being her normal self.
Elsewhere, when Xavier learns about Jett's attack towards his mother, he is furious, convinced that Jett is too far gone to help. Gina refuses to give up on Jett, however, and Xavier is left feeling even more pushed to the side. Tension is high until an apologetic Jett returns and Xavier realises that maybe there is something in helping this kid after all.
