Ben is also still keen to help his brother, but when he is left alone with Ian for a moment, he makes things worse by letting slip that Jay also knew the truth about Heather's murder. Upstairs at The Vic shortly afterwards, Jean tries to convince Ian to open up over what he's going through. Fearing that Ian could be about to reveal his guilt, Ben rushes home, which is now playing host to the engagement party guests. A rattled Ben immediately announces to a shocked Phil that he's planning to turn himself in before the police come for him.

Meanwhile, Janine is anxious about Scarlett's wellbeing, and is also feeling the need to keep tabs on Michael because she doesn't fully trust him. Michael is also feeling down as Janine's constant worrying has left him exhausted. Alfie can sense that all is not right, so he tries to provide a happy distraction by forcing Kat to be present as Tommy meets his little sister for the first time. Left alone with Janine, Kat lets slip that Michael was having doubts about their relationship on the day of their wedding last month - which only fuels Janine's fears further...
Elsewhere, Kim is forced to cover for Ray as he secretly goes to play for Vivienne's football team rather than training with The Vic's squad.
