The Weatherfield builder gets suspicious in tonight's double bill when he realises that Izzy, Katy and Gary have all attended a secret appointment at the medical centre shortly before baby Joseph's christening.
Later, as the happy occasion gets under way at the church, Owen (Ian Puleston-Davies) quietly confronts Gary and demands to know what is going on. Pushing for answers, he is left stunned when Gary finally lets slip that Katy has offered to have a baby for him and Izzy.
Owen immediately loses his rag in the middle of the christening, shocking the guests with an angry outburst condemning the idea.
Although his family beg him to be quiet for Joseph's sake, Owen refuses to calm down - and the christening day is ruined for everyone as a result…
