Later, Pete and Bob enjoy letting Lucy feel the heat as they confer eagerly at the Hungry Pig. Dolores intervenes and suggests that Lucy and Pete should give each other a wider berth for the foreseeable future, while Wayne makes his loyalty to Lucy known. Soon afterwards, Pete tries to get Dolores to make Lucy move out, but is disappointed when Dolores refuses to choose between them. Lucy convinces Dolores that she is only interested in peace-keeping and is in no way responsible for Pete's hostility.
Meanwhile, Paul undermines Rachel's confidence when he suggests that giving Graham a present on her return from holidays will make her come across as pushy or clingy. Later, Rachel feels insecure when she sees Charlotte chatting up Graham, but he gives Rachel a lovely welcome and she is reassured. Charlotte stirs up trouble by insinuating to Rachel that Graham is getting impatient waiting for sex. This makes Rachel nervous, but Graham's behaviour is reassuring.
Elsewhere, Cass schemes to get free parking, while Paul - utterly fed up selling cars - sees a younger version of himself in Wayne.
