While the technological world awaits the official launch of Apple's iPad 3, one can only guess what features the new device may include.
Aatma Studios has gone one step further by releasing a video showcasing a number of fantasy concepts that the iPad 3 - or at least future iPads - may feature.
The clip includes an iPad model with 2560 x 1140 resolution edge-to-edge retina display, internal magnets and near-field communication that allows two iPads to connect, and a 3D hologram for gaming.
Speaking about the concepts, Aatma's Pramod Modi Shantharam told Mashable: "Although the tablet form factor is great, we felt the need for a larger visual real estate. We eliminated the black border of current iPad and thought it would be a great visual experience for users who bring their iPads together utilizing their internal magnets."
"Consider a scenario where a family of four brings their individual iPads together at an airport while waiting for their flight with a master iPad controlling all screens," Shantharam added. "This could facilitate new original forms of media content in the future."
Aatma Studios has previously released a video featuring the fictional iPhone 5's features, which has so far reached over 45 million views on YouTube.
The iPad 3 will be launched on March 7.
