Kitchen Burnout will feature celebrities competing against each other and in challenges such as cooking for jockey Frankie Dettori, Chelsea FC and a private members' club. Hell's Kitchen star Marco Pierre White will oversee the contestants' progress on the programme.
According to comedy website Chortle, Watson and Byrne will be testing their culinary skills on the show.
Model Elen Rives, soap star Alex Ferns, Russell Grant, Nancy Dell'Olio and Coronation Street actress Tupele Dorgu were previously linked to the series. Carol Smillie, former tabloid editor Kelvin MacKenzie, TV presenter Donna Air, Ruth Langsford and Debra Stephenson are also tipped to appear.
