The Take Me Out comic also joked that one of his pre-match superstitions would involve not seeing "Bradley Walsh or Jonny Wilkes naked before the game".
Speaking about his tactics for the charity football match, he said: "If we try and stop them playing football we should be ok... But I'm also going to put a naked picture of James Corden up in the opposition's dressing room."
McGuiness added that he would be willing to "stand up and be counted" if the game goes to penalties and also claimed that he was a fair player "9 out of 10 times" he went in for a tackle.
The TV star will line up alongside captain Robbie Williams, Bradley Walsh, Jamie Theakston, Ricky Hatton, Damian Lewis and various former England internationals at the weekend. The Rest Of The World squad includes Gethin Jones, Woody Harrelson, Mike Myers, Gordon Ramsay and captain Michael Sheen.
Dermot O'Leary will host the main show, with Kirsty Gallacher providing touchline reports. Dave Berry will front the spin-off show Extra Time on ITV4.
