Jonathan Ross to host new ITV panel quiz 'Trending Topics'

Jonathan Ross is to host a new quiz show on ITV1.

The broadcaster announced the series Trending Topics via his Twitter account.

"I'm making a new panel show called Trending Topics (someone has to)," he quipped. "[You can get] free tickets to our dry-runs in London."

No further details are currently known about the project. Ross is also working with ITV on a second series of his chat show.

"I am thrilled to be signing again for ITV," the 51-year-old said in November. "It's like that stage in a relationship when you've been leaving a few clothes over every time you stay, and they finally give you a door key."

Two run-throughs for Trending Topics have been scheduled for Monday, February 13 and Monday, February 20.

Filming will take place at The Rada Studios, formerly known as The Drill Hall, in central London.
