Matthews, who is on the hunt for a lover, has 24 girls at the start of the competition, but quickly whittles down the numbers on the Channel 5 reality show.

The 23-year-old, who has dated Louise Thompson and Caggie Dunlop on Made In Chelsea, told New! that he got rid of the girls who failed to make an impact during the opening exchanges.
Last year's The Bachelor starred rugby player Gavin Henson.
However, Henson's romance with show winner Carianne Barrow only last a couple of months.
Barrow later branded Henson "boring" and claimed that the sports star was rubbish in bed.
