Richard Bacon's comical countdown was seen by 1.02m (5.9%) between 9pm and 9.30pm, down 200k on its opening rating on Wednesday, but topping the multichannel league table for a second successive time.
Meanwhile, ITV4's Tour de France Highlights took an impressive 847k (4.3%) at 7pm.
BBC Sport's full coverage of Team GB men's football warm-up Olympics game gave BBC One an audience of 3.13m (15.3%) between 7.30pm and 10pm, while Superstar stayed low with 2.64m (12.8%) on ITV1 (+1: 119k/0.7%).
Britain's Secret Treasures was ITV's best-rated non-soap programme with 3.93m (19.8%) at 8pm (+1: 193k/0.9%), while Gardeners' World topped BBC Two's night with 1.8m (8.4%).
The Million Pound Drop Live entertained 1.54m (7.5%) on Channel 4 from 9pm (+1: 165k/1%), after which The Angelos Epithemiou Show amused 572k (3.6%).
Big Brother anchored Channel 5's lineup with 1.35m (6.4%) at 9pm, returning at 11pm for evicted housemate Lauren Carre's interview with Brian Dowling.
Either side of the reality show, Ice Road Truckers commanded 787k (3.6%) at 8pm, and 598k (3.2%) watched Spencer Matthews's The Bachelor at 10pm.
Overall, ITV1 grabbed another primetime win with 20.7% (+1: 0.8%), comfortably ahead of BBC One's 15.6%. BBC Two earned third place with 5.9%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.2% (+1: 0.8%), and Channel 5 with 4% (+1: 0.2%).
