TV duo Sam Nixon & Mark Rhodes have revealed that they are embracing "the camp" on this year's Dancing on Ice.

The former Pop Idol duo claimed that they are ready to "embrace the madness" and sparkly costumes when the show launches this weekend.

"You've got to embrace the camp. Real men wear pink. Pink and faded salmon," Rhodes told Digital Spy.

Nixon added: "If you've seen our children's show, you'll know we've worn a lot worse."

Meanwhile, Rhodes claimed that he will have a sneaky bet on his rival winning the Dancing on Ice 2012 crown.

"I'm going to put some money on Sam to win the competition," he said. "I'll put it out there. I'll put a fiver on him at 10/1."

Nixon joked: "When you see me skate on Sunday, you'll think, 'Mark, what an idiot!'"

Dancing on Ice launches on Sunday (January 8) at 6.30pm on ITV1.
