Since being crowned Britain's Got Talent champions over a month ago, Ashleigh & Pudsey have been flown to LA by Simon Cowell, joined the T4 on the Beach lineup and secured a £100,000 book deal.
However, Ashleigh declined an offer to perform on American Idol due to the "last minute" nature of the request.
"We were gutted we couldn't do American Idol. We were offered it at the last minute but I just wouldn't have Pudsey put in storage for the flight over," she said.
