'Britain's Got Talent': Dog poo backstage causes 'chaos'

The Britain's Got Talent dog acts have reportedly caused "chaos" backstage on the ITV1 reality show because of the amount of poo they left behind.

During the Edinburgh auditions at the weekend, a number of canine acts defecated in the Edinburgh's Festival Theatre's backstage area, the Scottish Sun claims.
"There was poo everywhere," said a witness. "The judges are used to eccentric and unpredictable acts. But this is a different thing to deal with altogether."
Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and returning judge Amanda Holden were left waiting as the production team cleaned up after the animal acts.
The talent show has a history of successful dog acts with duos including Tina and Chandi and Kate and Gin reaching the live stages of the programme. Simon Cowell has also previously stated that he wants to find "a new Lassie" on the programme.
During auditions at Cardiff, a sheep proved problematic when it refused to move backstage after it heard one of the judges' buzzers.
A source told Digital Spy: "One act included taking a sheep on stage. But as soon as it heard the loud buzzer it stopped in its tracks and wouldn't go on to perform."
Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV1 in the spring.
