This wasn't a curious sexual come-on from the dark lord of reality TV, but a statement of jaw-dropping shock after an audition from 17-year-old opera singer Jonathan Antoine.
Antoine had walked on to heckles and laughs (much like Susan Boyle in 2009), but walked out with a standing ovations and the judges were left stunned by his vocal prowess. "I think London may have the winner this year," cooed a very satisfied Cowell after the audition ended.
Clips of Antoine performing with his singing partner Charlotte Jaconelli have surfaced on YouTube since his audition.
Watch a YouTube clip of Jonathan Antoine & Charlotte Jaconelli below:
Antoine was advised to ditch his partner Jaconelli by the judges, but the teenager stood firm and insisted that they would perform on the show as a duo. Whether he maintains that loyal stance by the time the ITV1 show reaches the air and live semi-finals remains to be seen.
There have been a handful of "next Susan Boyles" on Cowell's reality shows since the Scottish warbler burst onto the scene with her Les Mis tunes.
In 2010, there was 80-year-old NuBo Janey Culter. Cutler, who sadly passed away last year, went on the BGT tour, but she never matched the heights of The Boyle.
Danyl Johnson was billed as the "best first audition ever" by Simon Cowell after he tossed his mic around on The X Factor. But despite a couple of US TV interviews at the start of the series, Danyl's career has failed to take flight and he's been working on his "exciting debut record" for far too many years.

Last year, Michael Collings and his luminous orange hoodies shocked Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre with his husky take on Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car'. However, his blossoming stardom and 'new SuBo' status was shortlived.
Whether Antoine can end the 'new SuBo' curse remains to be seen, but the mere fact that we're talking about him before the show's even aired would suggest that he's going to have a struggle.
Boyle's success stemmed from the fact that before the show aired only a handful of stories had been written about her audition. Antoine faces three months of hype, whispers and build-up and that's going to be a tough job to live up to.
Do you think Jonathan is good enough to be the new SuBo? Has Cowell got another star on his hands? Or are you sick of BGT opera singers? Leave your views below!
