Wright, who is currently starring in his own ITV2 series Hollywood Nights, said that the press needed to move on from trying to reunite the couple.
Watch Mark Wright talking to Digital Spy about Lauren and Arg below:
Goodger recently claimed in a magazine interview that she would always love Wright, while the tabloids speculated last week that the pair may have rekindled their relationship after they were spotted at the same club night.
Quashing the rumours, Wright told Digital Spy: "I didn't see her inside the club. We were at the same club, but there was 1,200 other people in there.
"Lauren is part of my past. I split up with her in August 2011, people need to realise that.
"People will still tag us together and I understand that. We were together a long time. I just wish her all the best and I have no hard feelings for that girl."

Wright also defended his former TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent, who has been criticised for his behaviour on the ITV2 constructed reality series.
"Arg is a lovely guy, but he's been caught up in a few dramas at the moment because of [his breakup with] Lydia [Bright]. He's hurt and he loves her," he said.
"But Arg will be alright - he's a legend."
Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights continue on Sunday at 10pm on ITV2.
