Mixtape sheds light on the story behind Church's hit song 'Springsteen', in which he reflects on his childhood and first love.
Church said of the film's premiere: "I am very excited to share Mixtape with everyone. I've gotten a lot of questions about the music video, asking about the actors, where did the scenes come from, what did they pertain to? Well, this movie will clear everything up.
"[Producer] Peter Zavadil crafted an art representation that adds a whole new emotional element to the song and video. In fact, it essentially inspired the video. I'm honoured to show it on CMT."
Mixtape is to air for the very first time on Saturday (July 7) at 10.15am ET and then on Sunday (July 8) at 8.15am ET, commercial-free on CMT.
Church is also to host an online contest in conjunction with Mixtape's premiere, where two fans will win free tickets to his tour.
The musician continues headlining his 'The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour' through the summer and into the winter.
In June, Church's cancellation of a concert in Buffalo led to a near-riot among angry fans.
