Millionaire's 5.6m (1.5) in the 8pm slot and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition's 4.5m (1.5) between 9pm and 11pm gave the Alphabet Network its first Sunday night victory in three weeks.
NBC's stronghold was broken without its Olympics Trials, which severely dented ABC's unscripted lineup last week.
The Peacock Network's only new broadcast was Dateline, which pulled in a slot-winning 5.8m (1.1) at 7pm as all other terrestrial networks screened reruns.
Meanwhile, Fox's classic Simpsons double bill in the 8pm hour amused 3m (1.2) and 3.1m (1.3), then two old editions of Family Guy entertained 3.6m (1.7) and 3.8m (1.8).
The Rupert Murdoch network managed to finish above NBC and CBS, both of which scheduled wall-to-wall repeats.
