The Sky1 show tells the story of a sales assistant in a computer shop who gets accidentally recruited to MI5, and his subsequent attempts to balance his secret life with his domestic life.

Deadline reports that original series creator Simeon Goulden is in negotiations to adapt the US version, which is expected to go to pilot at ABC.

ABC President Paul Lee is British-born, and has also been responsible for Family Tools, an adaptation of the BBC Three sitcom White Van Man, as well as the much-discussed Only Fools and Horses remake.
