'Robot Chicken' DC Comics special gets trailer - watch

Robot Chicken has released a trailer for its upcoming DC Comics special.

Debuted by IGN, the clip shows members of the Justice League and the villainous Legion of Doom in various comedic situations.

Megan Fox, Nathan Fillion, Alfred Molina, Paul Reubens, Neil Patrick Harris and Breckin Meyer will provide voice work for the DC special, as well as series regular and co-creator Seth Green.

Robot Chicken creators Green and Matthew Senreich previously gave the stop-motion treatment to Green Lantern for an episode of the show's fifth season.

The series has famously parodied Star Wars, Halo, 300 and other properties in the past.

Robot Chicken's DC Comics special will kick off the show's sixth season on September 9.
