So who made the final cut? Here's a rundown of the Top 16:
The former American Idol hopeful performed 'I Kissed A Girl' by Katy Perry at her blind audition, and became a member of Team Christina after the 'Fighter' star was the only mentor to turn her chair around. She advanced to the live shows in the first battle round after she was pitted against Tarralyn Ramsey for a duet of Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'.
Rocker Beverly secured her place on The Voice after a blind audition to 'Piece Of My Heart'. Her performance impressed both Adam and Christina but she ultimately opted for the diva. She defeated Justin Grennan, the only male member of Team Christina, in a rendition of 'Baba O'Riley' by The Who during the second battle round.
The 16-year-old, who played Ben Affleck's daughter in Jersey Girl, became a member of Team Christina following a blind audition to Leona Lewis's 'Bleeding Love'. The youngest singer in the competition, she advanced to the live shows following a face-off with Julia Eason to Rihanna's track 'Only Girl (In The World)' in the third battle round.
She secured her place on Team Christina following a second audition to 'If I Aint' Got You', with Christina admitting that she'd regretted not choosing her during the first audition. She progressed to the live rounds following a duet to Kelly Clarkson's 'Since U Been Gone' with Cherie Oakley in the fourth battle round.
The music and economics student wowed Cee Lo, Blake and Adam with 'Live Like You Were Dying' during the first blind auditions, but opted to work with fellow country singer Blake. He made it through to the live shows in the first battle round, where he was pitted against Tyler Robinson in a performance of 'Burning Love' by Elvis Presley.
Singer/songwriter Jared, a father of six, earned his place on Team Blake following a second audition. He initially failed to get any of the coaches to turn around with 'Good Girls Gone Bad', but earned his battle round chance with 'Not Ready To Make Nice'. He continued to the live shows following a battle duet to 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' against Elenowen.
The children's novelist impressed both Blake and Cee Lo with her audition performance of 'Bubbly', but ultimately opted to work with Blake. He pitted her against Serabee in the third battle round, where she won her place in the live shows with her rendition of 'Can't Hurry Love' by The Supremes.
The student earned praise from both Cee Lo and Blake for her audition to 'Break Even', but eventually opted to join Team Blake, adding that not even her best friends knew she liked to sing until now. She was pitted against Sara Oromchi in the fourth battle round, where she progressed to the live shows following her performance of The Pretenders' 'I'll Stand By You'.
Team Cee Lo
The 26-year-old, who has opened for acts including Sting and Etta James, impressed both Cee Lo and Christina with Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' during her blind audition. After choosing to join Team Cee Lo, she was paired against Niki Dawson in the first battle round for a performance of Pink's 'Perfect', where she progressed to the live shows.
The blues singer took a big chance in his blind audition by performing Cee Lo's 'Forget You', but was rewarded when both Cee Lo and Blake said they wanted to work with him. He opted for the former, and was later paired with Tje Austin for a battle round performance of Ne-Yo's 'Closer', where he earned his spot in the live shows.
Tori & Taylor Thompson
Sisters Tori, 17, & Taylor, 19, got a yes from Cee Lo following their blind audition performance of 'Stuck Like Glue'. They had originally planned to audition separately but were convinced to appear as a duo by their aunt. Their battle round performance saw them performing Natasha Bedingfield's 'Unwritten' against Kelsey Rey, where they progressed to the live shows.
Country singer Curtis showcased another risky audition when he performed Blake's 'Hillbilly Bone', but impressed Cee Lo to become a member of his team. He was paired against close friend Emily Valentine for a rendition of Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now' in the fourth battle round, where he advanced to the live shows. The pair also surprised the coaches by sharing a kiss after the song concluded.
The high school senior secured a spot on Team Adam following a second audition where she took to the stage with her guitar for Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy'. The teenager was paired against Tim Mahoney for a performance of 'Leather and Lace' by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley in the first battle round, where she booked her place on the live shows.
Husband and dad-of-two Javier got a yes from all four coaches for his stripped back rendition of 'Time After Time' and decided to join Team Adam. He was teamed with Angela Wolff for a battle round performance of 'Stand By Me', where he advanced to the live shows.
The student, who is currently taking some time away from medical school, got a yes from Cee Lo and Adam for his audition rendition of 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz, but opted to become a member of Team Adam. He won a place in the live shows during the third battle round, where he was paired with Rebecca Loebe for a duet to Radiohead's 'Creep'.
The teenager was the first contestant on the show to get a yes from all four coaches after his blind audition performance of 'Bless The Broken Road'. He chose to join Team Adam and was later pitted against Casey Desmond in the final battle round for a performance of Sir Elton John's 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me', where he won a spot on the live shows.
