Speaking to social media correspondent Christina Milian backstage, she said: "I wasn't expecting [all four coaches to turn around] at all. That was very shocking.
"I thought nobody would turn around, and once one person turned around I thought, 'Awesome, I'm on the show!' and then when everyone else turned around I got a little overwhelmed because I don't like confrontation."

Sometimes added: "I just didn't know who to pick. It made me very uncomfortable them fighting, [but] how cool is it to have four amazing artists tell you they all love you and want to work with you?
"I was in shock. It felt wrong to pick one over the other because I'm so happy they were all saying something so sweet."
Shelton had wooed Sometimes by saying: "You're very special. You have a quality in your voice that reminds me of a girl named Xenia that I worked with last year.
"She and I had a pretty good run. She has a record deal now, that's all I'm saying, if you're in to that type of thing!"
The Voice airs Mondays at 8/7c on NBC
