'The Voice's Ashley De La Rosa: Christina can nurture my voice - video

The Voice contestant Ashley De La Rosa has said that she is excited about working with coach Christina Aguilera.
A short snippet of De La Rosa's blind audition performance of 'Shark In The Water' was shown on Monday night's (February 20) episode of The Voice, where she became a member of Team Christina.
Speaking to social media correspondent Christina Milian backstage, she admitted: "I wanted to be on Adam [Levine]'s team but Christina was my second choice. Adam is so cute so I was like, I'll just pick Adam!
"But I do have a soulful aspect to my voice that I think Christina also has and she can nurture and make into something incredible."
De La Rosa's bio on the official NBC website says that she is a trilingual straight-A student who is currently applying to Boston University and hopes to major in international relations and work for the United Nations.
