You left The Bachelorette in a bit of controversy. Were you worried that would surface again on Bachelor Pad?
"In the last year of my life I've been doing nothing but defending myself and my actions on The Bachelorette; it's an up and down battle. Some people will always continue saying, 'I hate you no matter what you say', so I've kind of learned to love the villain character that I've been portrayed to be. There's people that might have changed their mind and other people that no matter what I do will never change their mind. I wanted to give The Bachelor fans exactly what they wanted. They want to see Justin, the Rated R jerk, villain, whatever... I definitely made things entertaining and put a whole bunch of humour in that episode."
Is there anything you'd do differently if you could?
"I wouldn't have opened my big mouth to Alli! I knew that the powers to be in that house were Michelle, Grant, Kasey, Vienna, Holly and Michael. I knew I had to break them up. I was actually trying to protect Alli because they wanted to get her out of there. When I spilled the beans to her she went literally five minutes later to Grant, kind of telling him what I said. So definitely I regret that."
Did you really think you could play both sides? Did you think Alli would be trustworthy when you told her what the other group had said?
"There's only three hours, and even in those three hours, there's so much going on in that house, you couldn't see everything. I did build a solid alliance. I had Gia and Jake with me and then Alli was kind of a flip-flopper. I was talking to her and telling her, 'hey, you know what, they're going to try to flip you' and we needed her vote to make the majority for us. In the end it was a bad decision trusting that girl."
Did you realise how much strategy was involved in Bachelor Pad when you signed up?
"I did know that you have to have some gameplan coming on here. That was the part that I was looking forward to the most; getting involved, getting mixed up and forming alliances and seeing how I could possibly take control of that house."
Do you stand by your statement that Jake giving Vienna the rose was the dumbest move in Bachelor Pad history?
"Yes, I still think it was a major mistake because that changed everything. Out of the girls, Vienna was supposed to go home, but he went ahead and tried to be Mr Superman and save her. I still think that's the biggest mistake that was made in the game and we're going to see what happens to him. I'm sure it's going to bite him in the butt later on down the road."
Had you met Jake before Bachelor Pad?
"I'll be honest, I never met the guy before. I heard some not so nice things from a bunch of people so I had a negative impression of him. I started talking to him and gave him a chance because of Gia - me and Gia are somewhat close - but as the time went on in the house, I never got to know him, I always got to know this outer shell of him. We never had any deep conversation. It seemed like he was always putting on this little front, this little fake image."
Kasey was on your season of The Bachelorette. Had you met Vienna before?
"Yes, Kasey was on my season of The Bachelorette and I met him a couple of times doing charity work in New York and LA. I met Vienna briefly and I got along with them, even though watching the show it seems like me and Kasey kind of bump heads a lot. I don't have remorse for the guy and I think it's going to be interesting to see what happens to them."
Why were you so intent on getting Kasey out of the house?
"I know how manipulative he is in real life. I know that he's very, very good at getting people on his side, and I knew he would be a threat. I definitely knew for my safety, I needed him out that door, and I came into the game to play and to play hard. If I was going to be eliminated, it's because I went after the biggest personalities in that house. The one worry that I had was being one of the quiet guys and not really being shown or not really being that entertaining. I definitely wanted to go in there stomping my feet and making my presence known. Also, it would have been pretty funny getting rid of Kasey both times on The Bachelorette and the Bachelor Pad!"

Who do you want to win?
"It would be a toss up between Kirk, because he was on my season and he is truly a great, great human being and Ames, who is another awesome individual. He is as sweet as he seems, I'll put it that way. Out of the females, I would say two of the nicest people inside the house were Jackie and Holly."
Who do you think is going to win?
"It would have to be someone of that little core four alliance, you know, either Kasey and Vienna or Michelle and Grant, because they're strong competitors. As much as I hate to admit it, they know what they are doing in the game and they are doing it well."
Was there anything that surprised you watching the show?
"Besides Ames and Jackie making out right away?! I'm like, 'man, I'm the jerk so shouldn't I be the one making out with all these girls!?' I was shocked about the way the voting went. From watching the show it seems like Gia was the deciding vote and the reason why I went home. At the reunion show I want to clear that air and see whose vote sent me home. I'm actually surprised by Blake too. All props to Blake because he tried his best to keep me around and scramble to get Kasey out of there. All in all, I'm happy with the edit of the show."
Were you open to finding love on the show?
"I was not open to love on the show - I strictly wanted it for the money. I'm currently dating somebody back home in Toronto who makes me very happy; we've been dating for several months. Going into the house I did tell them I was single just for the option of using that to my advantage, but on the other hand that's another reason why I was kind of happy that I left for home early. I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the relationship that I have."
Are you still wrestling?
"Unfortunately I'm not wrestling. I haven't wrestled, believe it or not, in over four years... I don't want to break any more bones! I've already suffered a concussion, bruised sternum, broken hand, broken foot, so no more broken bones. I'm more focused on where the stock market is right now."
