'Homeland' unveils 'Claire Danes Returns' season two promo - watch

A new promo for Homeland's forthcoming second season has been released.

The 30-second clip features series lead Claire Danes's character Carrie disguised in a brown wig and being chased by a group of men.



"I have never been so sure and so wrong," a tearful Carrie says in the promo.

Last Friday (August 17), the series unveiled a longer trailer which features Damian Lewis and quick shots of new cast members like Rupert Friend.

Showtime said in a statement that Homeland's second season will begin with Carrie no longer working at the agency, while Nicholas Brody (Lewis) is several months into his inaugural term as a freshman Congressman.

Season two of Homeland will premiere on Sunday, September 30 at 10pm ET on Showtime.
