Monteith, who plays Finn, told TV Guide that he will take on Vincent Price's role as the narrator during the song.
"I'm also one of the zombie folk, which requires about three-and-a half-hours of prosthetic make-up," he said.
Monteith was also asked who will take on Michael Jackson's role and teased: "The episode is pretty centred around Artie [Kevin McHale], who does a lot of singing."
The Super Bowl episode of Glee will air on Fox on February 6.
