The actor insisted that he is unsure what show execs have in mind for Mike's storyline once the high schooler graduates, but expressed his hope that the teen could go on to pursue his love of dance on a professional level in future episodes.
"I think it would be interesting if he actually gets into the Joffrey ballet, but I also think it might be fun to make that trip to New York or LA to become a dancer," Shum told E Online.
"Or maybe he wants to be more than just dancing. It happens with a lot of dancers. You come and you dance in companies but you see all these other people making money doing all these things like choreographing."

Glee creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that he has not yet figured out the future of characters Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Corey Monteith).
