'Glee': Kate Hudson stars in season four promo - video

A new Glee promo contains a first look at Kate Hudson's role on the show.

Almost Famous star Hudson was cast on the Fox musical drama in May and will play Rachel's new dance teacher in the fourth season.



The 30-second clip sees Hudson's "mean and petty" tutor bully Rachel (Lea Michele), who is shown as a new student at NYADA.

Glee will return to Fox for its season four premiere - titled 'The New Rachel' - on September 13 on Fox. In the UK, the series airs on Sky1.

Other guest stars confirmed for the new episodes include Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker and Terra Nova actor Dean Geyer, who will play Rachel's new love interest Brody.
