Big Brother comfortably won its slot, as ABC's Wipeout followed up with 5.6m (1.7).
Meanwhile, Fox's The Choice retained a respectable 3.2m (2.1), and Saving Hope delivered the same audience but a metered rating of just 1.2 for NBC.
Rookie Blue edged into first place at 10pm with 4.8m (1.3) for ABC, pipping Brian Williams, who entertained 5.2m (1.2) with Rock Centre on NBC.
A repeat of Person of Interest had 5.6m (1.2) for CBS, while old editions of The Big Bang Theory had 8m (2.3) and 9m (2.8) in the 8pm hour to ensure the Tiffany Network won the night with 18-49 adults and total viewers.
Elsewhere, Take Me Out held a steady 3m (1.2) for Fox at 8pm, while Duets continued with 4.8m (1.0) on ABC.
